Accel’s English Enrichment Program’s goals are to foster a love of learning and promote a sense of self-confidence that will allow students to achieve as much as possible.
Middle School English Enrichment:
- Courses developed for grades 6 through 8
- Classes focus on helping students gain confidence in English through reading a variety of fiction and non-fiction works from various genres that students are likely to encounter in their regular classrooms.
- In-house curriculum developed and evolved over 30 years
- Classes focus on developing necessary composition skills through writing journals, creative essays, and informational reports.
- The fundamentals of good study skills necessary to succeed in high school are introduced.
Middle School English

Semesters:
- Four semesters per year: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
- Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters run for twelve weeks with classes offered once a week on Saturdays.
- The Summer semester runs for six weeks, with students coming twice a week.
- Math and English classes run for two hours each.
- Students have the option of enrolling in one or both subjects.
